AMENDMENT~
TO AGREEMENT FOR INMATE TELEPHONE CALL MONITORING,
TELEMEDICINE, NETWORK DISTANCE LEARNING,
CASHLESS CANTEEN AND RELATED SERVICES
This Amendment is made and entered into by and between the State of New Mexico,
New Mexico Corrections Department (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") and Public
Communications Services (hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor").
Whereas the Intrastate Debit Rates as set out in Amendment #5 regarding the
differential between Peak and Off Peak per minute charges cannot be implemented because of
the limitations in the debit software, the parties therefore desire to amend the Intrastate rate to
achieve the average of the Peak and Off Peak rate as set out in Amendment #5.
Wherefore, the Department and Contractor hereby agree to the following debit call rates
effective September 1, 2002:
* $1.80
$1.50
$1.50
*Flat fee for a 15 minute call duration.
ALL OTHER PROVISIONS OF THE AGREEMENT, INCLUDING THE REQUEST FOR
PROPOSALS, THE CONTRACTOR'S PROPOSAL, AND PREVIOUS AMENDMI;NTS 1
through 4, REMAIN UNCHANGED.
